My Conjuctions

WALT:  We are learning about conjunctions and how to use them in sentences.

Basic conjunctions

Conjunctions join two parts of a sentence and help to show the connection between the two parts of the sentence.

Here are examples of conjunctions you can use in your sentences:

• We went home and went straight to bed.

• They are rich but they aren’t happy.

• We went home because we were tired.

• We went home early, so we missed the end of the concert.

• We went home when Jane wanted to.

• We went home before the concert ended.

• We went home after Max Jones had sung his first song.

• We went home although / though we did not really want to.

Description:Today we have been learning about conjuctions. We had to highlight the conjuctions in the sentences and after we finished that we had to finish the sentences with the conjuctions on top that we could only use all of those words once.

If I had a million Dollars at the Mall

Walt: write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words.

Imagine having a millions dollar, I would imagine buying a limo. I wouldn't have to work, everything in life would just be so easy. I would rome too each country but live in United states of America/USA and meet all the famous people I've always wanted to meet, I might even become famous by asking people to be in their movies and pay them five thousand/$5000.

With my million dollars I would buy the entire store so I could earn all my money back because everything is rip-off and everything is all mine and I can give them away as if i’m Santa. I would buy the whole store because it’s got every toy a kid needs and almost every toy I need. But I would buy it for my family because I will have too many toys that I would not need. It would also be cool because i’ll have all the sets and collections and sell them for a whole lot of money.

If I was at footlocker I would buy all the latest shoes and brands. I would also buy all the shoes I ever wanted for my collection like Adidas, Converse, Nike and Air Jordans. If I still had money I would try buy the whole store because I would just walk around with my shoes and dance with them. But I think buying the store would be good because I wouldn't run out of sizes and if I lose shoes or dirty them or break them I've always got hundreds of shoes left.

With my money I would goto Kmart and get or the electronics and lollies and do a lollie scramble. After that I would buy or the good clothes and put them in my trolley with the shoes and show off my big trolley. Then I would get a whole bunch of soccer balls, rugby balls, tennis balls and bouncy balls with the equipment I need. An I would buy the whole collection of skateboards, roller skates, scooters, surfboards, bikes and longboards with about ten bucket hats, ten beanies and ten normal hats.

If I was to use this for good I would pay for my whole family's bills and then donate a hundred thousand dollars to charity. With the rest I would be financially responsible and give my family seventy five thousand dollars each. If I had anymore money I would buy some lotto tickets and try win the 14 million dollars so that I could buy a new house and cars for my whole family. If I was to win I would get a limo and take my whole family out to USA to goto the theme parks and to go to the movies to watch movies that haven't came out in NZ, after that I would take my family in a limo to meet all the famous celebrity stars.
We had to write about having 1 million dollars at the mall. We had to imagine being selfish with our a million dollars. At the end I felt really wierd and mean because I wasnt being finacialy responsible.
